Urban Lodge Head Brewer Kevin Clark has a passion for creating beverages that bring people together. A highly skilled and respected brewer, he believes combining the delectable aromas and flavors of malt and hops is an art, a gift and one of life’s greatest pleasures.
Kevin got his start at Passionfish, a gourmet seafood restaurant in Pacific Grove, California. Here, he developed a taste for flavor — in wine, food and, ultimately, beer pairings. Kevin pursued his passion for beer by attending the Siebel Institute of Technology, one of America’s premiere brewing schools.
Prior to joining Urban Lodge, Kevin worked for five years as head brewer at a brewpub in Monterey, California. Also a home brewer, he specializes in IPAs, lagers, Belgians and barrel-aged beers.
